We have puppies, just born last week, so no pictures yet, but give us a call or an email and we can discuss. We do have one puppy that is ready to go home as we had a few cancellations from US Owners due to the new border regulations. Check out the puppy page, but here is a teaser. 🙂

Puppies, puppies puppies. Just recently born so no pics yet, but contact us if interested for October. However we do have one available now due to several owner cancellations from US due to their new border rules for dogs. Meet Aslan, Named after the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, because he definitely deserves an amazing name. He is very very sweet, but also very playful and active, everything and everyone is of interest. Social and full of life and love. Aslan has had his vet check, his second shots and is used to his crate. Give us a call or email if you are interested in this beautiful boy, he is ready to go home at any time. I am travelling to Calgary next week so could deliver to Alberta if required.

Willow is no longer available, she has found her forever home. I am going to miss this little one a lot. Thanks for all the lovely comments. Meet Willow, a gorgeous white with black markings girl. Willow was the first one gone from the litter but a health issue in the family made it bad timing so she is available to the right home. Willow is a lover through and through, she just loves to be held, played with and is learning how to lead walk. She has a beautiful coat, and I love her markings. If you are interested in Willow call us at 250 577 3331 or email us at myladhav@outlook.com. Willow was born February 6th, 2024 and has received her first two vaccination and is being trained on lead and overnight crate sleeping. She is ready to go home at any time Lauren is travelling to Vancouver next week, so she could be delivered to the lower mainland area, or picked up at our home in Kamloops.

Willard Bolduc Indigenous service members would receive numerous decorations for bravery during the war. Willard Bolduc, an Ojibwa airman from Ontario, earned the Distinguished Flying Cross for his brave actions as an air gunner during bombing raids over occupied Europe. Huron Brant, a Mohawk from Ontario, earned the Military Medal for his courage while fighting in Sicily

While Indigenous soldiers again served as snipers and scouts, as they had during the First World War, they also took on interesting new roles during this conflict. One unique example was being a "code talker." Men like Charles “Checker” Tomkins of Alberta translated sensitive radio messages into Cree so they could not be understood if they were intercepted by the enemy.

As Tulip's litter was born the day before Remeberance day, they are named after veterans. As acknowledgement of Indigenous reconcilliation, and how much work we still need to do, these pups are named after Indigenous Veterans. Here is Tommy, named after Tommy Prince

We were away for holidays and then had a house full. I’ll need a vacation after my vacation. Will catch up on photos tomorrow

The Canadian National Havanese specialty was held this past weekend in Ontario. There was a Mylad dog entered and we are proud to say that “Bizzy” (Tink X Beatle) won “Best a Cut Down in Specialty” (yes, there was a category just for havanese that had been clipped down). Good girl, Bizzy!

Off to the Canadian National havanese specialty this week. Will try to take lots of pic l.

Here is Bizzy (Tink X Beatle) hard at work. She reminds me of an old lady who plays the slot machines in Vegas 🤣🤣

The Canadian national havanese specialty show is happening in Ontario this year. There will be a wonderful group of havanese and their people there! Be sure to check it out!
