Well the specialty is finally over. The post
specialty work was as time consuming as the actual
specialty. But the money is in, the photos are
submitted, the articles written etc. etc etc. It
was great, I will do it again but not for a couple of
years :-)
The next Havanese Fanciers of Canada Havanese Specialty
will be in Nova Scotia, I plan to go and take someone
with me - one of the new babies.
The show dogs are doing well. Kensie had a
fantastic month, only two events two events in Nov/Dec
but that was enough for her. She finished her
Championship in Canada so she is now a US and Canadian
CH and she is still just a baby at 9 months.
Kensie's show career has been amazing. A regional
specialty win in Chicago, a toy specialty win at Tradex,
2 breed wins, and last weekend a best puppy in group
win. She really had an amazing and FAST show
career. I'm almost sorry it is over, she was such
fun to show. but at 9 months too young for the specials
ring so she is now just a happy house puppy.
The puppies have just about all gone home from Ella and
Cheena, I miss them. I'm getting some great
updates and photos though, I will post some of them.
Thank you ALL for sending me updates and photo's it
warms my heart to get them, and it is such a nice
feeling to know that my babies are all so loved, spoiled
and taken such well care of.
Well the next few months will certainly be much quieter,
no puppies for awhile, no shows for awhile, whatever am
I going to do with myself. I have my three new
babies to train, so I guess I'd better start on that.
Izzy (Isabella, Cleo and Willie will all be in the ring
in the spring, I look forward to showing them, they are
filled with personality and energy.
