Monthly Blog -
April 2010
April 25, 2010
Happy April, can't believe the month is
almost over. Doug has been really great, looking
after the puppies while I've been in Germany again for 3
weeks this time. I'm hopeful that I won't have to
make any more trips for awhile and can spend time with
my family and with my puppies. I miss them all so
much and it's been hard on Doug having me away.
Not only did he have all the dogs to
look after, and the puppies but he also had to do 5
breedings this month. He did it all beautifully,
and with the help of our dog sitter I'm sure has kept
all the show coats looking great too. Can't wait
to get home, it's Mykensie's 15th birthday at the end of
the month.
He took photos and sent them to me last
night so I could update the web. It's hard with
one person, so there are not many pictures, but next
week they can have their first baths and I promise to
get more photos up. The 4 week age is my least
favorite age for photos.
Show News has been good. The
Taylor Mouse litter about 7 months ago produced three
show puppies, and the boy did so well in his first
shows. He finished in no time at all, winning
breed and puppy and is a new Canadian Champion still
under 9 months old. My girl has also been showing
in the States, Izzy, who is a Coby, Cinders daughter and
she has done really well too, She has won WB, BOW and
Best Opp and is 1/2 way through her championship.
I'm glad because we really miss Izzy she is a sweetie
pie.
Nothing in Canada until May and then
only on the island so not sure how many shows I will be
doing.
Ella should be pregnant, I will be
able to tell when I get home next week, as she should be
just over a month. Amber finally came into season
and I bred her to a Coby Son from the US. He's a
gorgeous black and white parti with a beautiful Coby
head, and lots of markings. Should be really nice
puppies. I'll get a picture of Stogie up on the
web shortly.
5 more sleeps and then home yeah!!!
