Cheena's
Birthing Story
Her belly got about twice the size before she
delivered.
The Story
Not a difficult birthing but boy a late one. Cheena
was so big her belly almost touched the floor - we were
a bit worried there were a dozen in there and that the
birthing may be difficult - but she was a trooper.
One breach stuck but her contractions were so strong -
that I just used a little lubrication and was able to
guide the puppy out with her contractions - piece of
cake :-)
We finished up around 4:00 and were in bed around
5:00 am - Boy not my favorite whelping time at all.
You would think the other puppies would have a little
respect and sleep in, but no 7:00 am as usual. Did
I mention lately my husband is a saint!!!
